We enjoyed wonderful P3-4 Christmas performances on Tuesday 13th December. Thanks to all our young people who participated in the afternoon and evening shows. This was the first year since 2019 that we have been able to host a large-scale indoor Christmas concert, and it was fantastic to welcome parents, carers and friends of the school to share some Christmas cheer!

Well done to P3, P3/4, P4 and our P3-4 dance club for putting on such a great show. Thanks to all our teachers and pupil support assistants for preparing pupils for the performances, and thanks to everyone who came along to support the events, including our guest visitors Councillor Tim Pogson, our local councillor for Southside and Newington, and Cindy Cosgrove from our partner charity, Social Bite. Cindy came to our afternoon performance and was kind enough to say a few words about the work which Social Bite do to help homeless people within our local community.

Finally, thanks to everyone who donated towards our collection at the end of the performance – either in person or via ParentPay. Between our P5-7 and P3-4 concerts, we have so far raised over £400 which will be shared between our P7 camp fund (which lowers the cost of attending school camp for our P7 pupils) and our friends at Social Bite. If you have not yet donated, there is still time to do so via your child’s ParentPay account.
