Home Learning for pupils in P5-7

We currently provide optional home learning activities for pupils in P5-7. These are accessible via your child’s Microsoft Teams account.

Pupils in our P5/6, P6 and P7 classes have their own individual iPads which have been provided as part of the City of Edinburgh Council’s Empowered Learning programme. This allows pupils easy access to all home learning activities.

Pupils in P5 do not currently have their own individual iPads, but can access Teams via any home device.

Sumdog

Every P1-7 child has a Sumdog account which allows them to access maths games at an age appropriate level. Sumdog provides a fun and motivating context for your child to practise and develop their maths skills.

To access Sumdog, download the Sumdog app for phone / tablet, or visit https://www.sumdog.com/login

You will need your child’s username and password to access the site. Please contact admin@prestonstreet.edin.sch.uk if you do not have this.

Linguascope

Our school Linguascope account allows your child to practise their skills in a range of modern languages including those which are studied at Preston Street (Mandarin, Spanish and Gaelic).
