Our P7 basketball team participated in the first set of fixtures in this year’s Junior NBA programme this afternoon at Tynecastle High School.

We started off with two competitive games with Pentland PS and Tollcross PS. Both games were very closely contested throughout and we were delighted to narrowly win both games by 24-12 and 24-14 respectively.

Thanks to everyone at West Edinburgh Warriors for putting on today’s event, particularly the junior players who acted as referees and table officials. We look forward to returning in two weeks for the next set of fixtures with James Gillespie’s PS and Longstone PS.

Well done to today’s players: Hermia, Daniela, GiGi, Osman, Kareem, Jacob, Jamie S, Jamie R.
