Good morning everyone. Today is International Workers’ Day, so it is rather apt that I will start by praising you for the fantastic effort you made with this week’s maths assignments. If you handed yours in, it has been returned with some short individual feedback.

I have taken one question from each of the three worksheets and posted a brief explanation.

Each of these questions were the best type of question – they produced ‘good wrong answers’ – these are answers which are not correct, but which have been reached through sensible mathematical thinking.

Even if you got the question correct, it is worth looking at the video anyway to understand the different thought processes involved in other people’s answers.
