Well done to our P6 and P7 basketballers who participated in the first session of the Junior NBA competition on Friday at Tynecastle High School. We enjoyed two competitive games with teams from Longstone and Sciennes PS.

The Jr. NBA has returned in 2022 following a 2 year break due to COVID. All games are held at Tynecastle HS and are hosted by the West Edinburgh Warriors club and basketballscotland officials. Over the course of the competition, our players will participate on five Friday afternoons, playing matches against the other nine schools in the event.

Well done to everyone who came along to represent the school, and special thanks to our coaches, Natasha and Emma, who are former Preston Street pupils who are currently in S3 and play for the Blaze basketball club. Both girls are wonderful role models for our young people, who will benefit greatly from their coaching and advice.

We look forward to the next event on Friday 1st April.
