We hosted our annual House Cross Country event at the Meadows on Thursday 17th March. Following last year’s event, where classes had to run separately, it was fantastic to have all our P5-7 pupils participating in the races together.

Pupils all participated in a 1k or 2k race around the Meadows, earning points for their house and also competing for individual prizes. We churned up a fair amount of mud in the process, but it was worth it! Everyone fully deserved their commemorative medal which was kindly funded by our Parent Council.

We are very grateful to our large group of parent volunteers who helped with marshalling and other duties to ensure the race was able to go ahead: Katia Lebart, Linha Park, Jack Zhang, Nicky Brown, Jake Martin, Keith Sutton, Shazia Jacob, Dee Payne, Dave Ceasar, William Edgar and Jude Tindale – apologies if we have missed anyone from this very extensive list!
