To finish off our Rainforest topic the children compared the similarities and differences between temperate and tropical Rainforests. They also drew fantastic pictures of the Rainforest inspired by the work of Henri Rousseau.
The children had fun creating their own musical instruments. They then worked in groups to create a musical story about the Rainforest. We took ideas from each group to make a class musical story.
In maths we have been learning to tell the time using analogue clocks. In numeracy we have been doing lots of missing number sums with adding and subtraction and discussing our strategies.
