Preston Street hosted the latest round of our ‘Meadows Winter Series’ on Wednesday afternoon. Over 150 runners from four cluster schools – Preston Street, Royal Mile, Sciennes and James Gillespie’s – participated in either a 1k ‘fun run’ or a 2k race.

Well done to all runners, and thanks to everyone who came to watch the event. Special thanks are due to our volunteer marshals Jake Martin, Camelia Belmokhtar, Nicola Read and Ken Merriman; to our parent volunteers Joan Seath and Jo McDonald for leading our P4 group; to Mr MacLean and Ms Craig for leading the P5-7 group; and to Iain Gray at JGPS, John Armstrong at Sciennes, and Eliot Ambrose at Royal Mile, and the various other staff and parents from these schools, for joining us on the day.
