We have had lots of fun over the last two weeks getting into the Christmas spirit. We have continued our setting description focus in writing, producing some wonderful stories of where we would venture to if we were gifted a magical Christmas cracker that would let us travel in time. We have really been thinking out using description to “paint a picture” of our stories.

In maths we finished up our bar modelling work and have been doing a bit of Christmas problem solving and mental maths.

As a team, we had a lot of fun creating a Hogmanay display outside the classroom as well as practising for our Christmas concert. Our dancing, singing and drum/violin playing really is quite a show! We’ve also designed some fun Christmas jumpers.

In health and wellbeing we have started learning about our body and the ways in which it changes as we get older. We’ve had some great discussions on this as well as people we can talk to if we are worried about anything.

With Miss Forsyth, we have continued our work with Spanish as well as some writing about our dreams.
