Hello again 6s!

I would say the first week of Teams has been amazing. You have done an excellent job.  It’s been good to see you there. If you are having trouble getting onto Teams, please email us at admin@prestonstreet.edin.sch.uk. We’d love to see you all there.

I’ve been trying to do some more reading during lockdown.  It’s not very often I get to read for pleasure with my university work. I have several favourite authors that I enjoy, so I’ve started to read a couple of their books this week. Do you have a favourite book?  I still own my favourite books from when I was in primary school.  Here they are (yes, some are really, really old – like me.)

Speaking of books, did you find the surprise new tab in PRES-CLASS-P6? Let me know what you think.

Your literacy and geography work will be in assignments on PRES-CLASS-P6 Teams.

Your maths will be in assignments on PRES-YEAR-P6.

Maths today says Quiz.  It’s not a quiz. It’s a check for me to see what I need to do a better job teaching in my next video.  Just do your best.

Next week you will be hearing from Mr Parkin. Monday is a day off for you.  So Mr Parkin will be sending your work on Tuesday.  I will be teaching again on May 11, but will still be on Teams to answer questions next week.
