Hope you enjoyed looking at all the learning we showcased in our last post. Below is a snapshot of the last two weeks.

Book Pass – own choice.

The children had fun with this round of book pass. The children got to choose from my class library which is full of books that I myself have read so it was a lovely chance to share recommendations with the children.

Non-fiction Text

The children have been looking at non-fiction text over the last two weeks. Discovering topics that interested them and understanding how to retrieve information from a non-fiction book using; the contents page, index, sub-headings and glossary.

They all chose a topic to research and borrowed a book from our school library. They then created their own mini non-fiction book on their chosen topic.

Assembly

Enjoying the bright spring weather by dancing!

Maths – using ipads to help support and practice multiplication.

Writing – our next writing adventure based on bonkers monsters and creating a mini saga, which is 100 word story!!

House Cross Country in their house teams with their medals – very proud of them all.
