Wednesday saw the final Running Club session of the term. We finished with the excitement of our annual House Relay. Traditionally, this event takes place during Sports Day- however that was not possible this year due to COVID restrictions. Accordingly, each house selected four Running Club members to battle it out for the trophy.

Following an exciting contest, the results were:

1st place – Oxford

2nd place – Clerk

3rd place – Lutton

4th place – Newington

Congratulations to all four teams for providing such a thrilling end to the year!

Following the relay, we finished off the year with some snacks and a trip to the park – both very well deserved rewards for an outstanding year of running club in very difficult circumstances.

Well done to everyone who has participated in running club this year, and thanks to Ms Craig and Mr MacLean for leading the club throughout the year. We look forward to restarting in August 2021 – when, subject to COVID restrictions, we may be able to resume races with other schools.
