In P.E. we have been developing our basketball skills. We have been learning how to dribble the ball, how to pivot and how to pass the ball using 3 different types of passes – chest pass, bounce pass and overhead pass.
We have been counting forwards and backwards and adding on tens and ones during numeracy lessons. We have also been enjoying some time to play Sumdog one numeracy lesson a week to develop our numeracy and maths skills.
We visited Holyrood Park and have completed our Ancient Egypt topic. We have been learning about the pyramids, the mummification process and about some of the gods and goddesses. We have been learning about families and people who help us through the RSHP programme and have continued learning about emotions through Zones of Regulation lessons.
Last week, we enjoyed the P7 reading ambassadors visiting us in class to read us a story, “Stuck” and to lead an activity based on the book as part of Scottish Book Week. They then gave us our P3 Read, Write, Count bags to take home.
