It’s been a little while since our last blog update and it has been a very busy time in P1/2!
St.Andrews day
We had lots of fun around St.Andrews day. We learned about St.Andrew and why he is so important in Scotland and his link to the Scottish flag. We had fun making our own flags using different materials. We also had fun making our own kilts using weaving boards and chalk.
P7 Buddies Christmas Crafternoon
Last week we teamed up with the P7 classes to create some Christmas baubles! Everyone had great fun and created some colourful and unique baubles.

General Christmas crafts and activities
Over the last week Elfie our Christmas Elf Elfie has been bringing us daily Christmas challenges! Elfie challenged us to make Christmas cards for our P7 buddies, decorate the playground for Christmas and to create lots of different Christmas crafts!

Normal activities
In amongst all the Christmas activities this month P1/2 have continued their regular learning activities. Here are some pictures of us during Maths, RME and PE lessons this month.
Christmas show and parent craft activity
On Friday P1/2 performed their Christmas show! The children did a fantastic job and should be very proud of themselves. For many of them it was the first time performing in front of an audience. Thank you to all the parents and families who attended the craft session after the show. It was so nice to have parents and families back in school again after covid. The children really enjoyed showing their families their classroom and creating something together.
That’s it for this term. I hope everyone has a happy and relaxing holiday and I will see you all again in the New Year.
