The last day of our ‘Sports Day 2021’ festival took place on Wednesday at the Meadows. The day started with our P2 and P2/3 Sports Day, before our P3 and P4 classes came down for our sixth and final event of the week.

As you can see from the pictures, the pupils had a fantastic time!

When the points were counted up, Newington were narrow winners in both the P2-P2/3 and P3-P4 competitions. This was just enough to make Newington the whole school champions!

We also thank all our parents and carers for understanding why we could not have spectators at this year’s Sports Day. We dearly hope that we are able to welcome you back to school events next session, but hopefully these pictures will at least give you a flavour of the atmosphere and excitement which was on display.
