P3/4 have enjoyed using IPads to research mythical creatures and write a fact file. We also did a listening comprehension about a mythical creature. We then created our own creature and used adjectives to describe it.

In maths we have been learning to tell the time. We have been reading and writing times using digital and analogue clocks.

We have been working on o clock, half past, quarter to and past. We have also been learning to tell the time using 12 hour clocks and 24 hour clocks.

In literacy we have been practising our handwriting and spelling. We have started a new writing genre – imaginative writing. We have written a cold piece of writing and identified the features of imaginative writing.

In P.E we have been working co-operatively to play rugby.

In health and wellbeing we have been continuing our work on zones of regulation. In RSHP whilst learning about similarity, difference and respect we drew a self portrait about what makes us unique.

In Spanish we have been learning to read and write names of family members in Spanish.

We have enjoyed singing lessons with NYCOS and  had lots of fun learning to play the drums!
