P3/4 have had fun learning about Ancient Egyptian Mummification. We had fun being ‘in-role’ to dramatise this.

In literacy we are continuing our work on diary writing. We have been considering how we can use sentence openers, feelings and thoughts in our writing. We have also been learning about synonyms, antonyms and using ‘a’ or ‘an’.

In maths we have been developing our understanding of subtraction, multiplication strategies and number bonds to 100.

In P.E we have been learning to play basketball.

In health and wellbeing we did some drama using puppets to show how to solve conflict when friends fall out. We are continuing our work on zones of regulation and have discussed how different characters in books are feeling throughout a story and which ‘zone’ they’re in.

We also enjoyed our ukulele lessons this week!
