P3/4 enjoyed their trip to Newington library. They enjoyed looking at books, doing a quiz about Ancient Egypt and making 3D pyramids!

In literacy we have been developing our spelling, especially ‘tricky’ words which are words we can’t sound out. We have been developing our vocabulary during our ‘word of the week’ lessons.

We have finished our block of diary writing and used what we have learned to write our own diary. We self and peer assessed our work and used this to edit our writing.

In maths we have been learning about multiplication, addition, probability and comparing numbers using greater than, less than and equals to.

In P.E we are continuing to develop our basketball skills. In health and wellbeing we have been discussing expected and unexpected behaviour in the different zones of regulation. We also have thought about what it feels like in our body when we are experiencing different emotions.
