Last Wednesday P3 went on a class trip to Love Gorgie Farm. It was a very fun trip where the children got to see many of the animals they have been learning about in their food and farming topic! They also got to see some animals that you might not spot on a farm such as a corn snake! Most of the children agreed that the highlight of the trip was getting the chance to feed some of the animals such as the alpacas and the goats. We learned that we need to hold our hands flat like a plate when feeding these animals so they don’t accidently nibble our fingers! The children were extremely sensible on our first trip out post covid and received a class token as a reward. A big thank you to Kate and Ariel our parent helpers who came with us on the trip and to the other parents who also offered to come along.

Tennis at the Meadows
The children have really been enjoying their tennis lessons at the meadows every Tuesday. The children have been working hard on their tennis skills over the last few weeks and are beginning to see their hard work paying off as things that were tricky at the start are becoming a lot easier now! Who knows we might have some Wimbledon champions in a few years! Next Tuesday will be our last tennis session this year. Thank you to all the parent helpers us accompanied us to tennis this term.
