Read and respond to a Story

Read the story of ‘The Gingerbread man’ or listen to it online. Discuss the setting (where the story takes place), who the characters are, the plot (what the characters do in the story), how the characters might feel at particular part in the story and invent an alternative ending if you could change how the story ends. Then draw a picture in response to the story such as the setting and characters. You may like to write and draw your alternative ending. Also you may like to make something that links to the story such as make a bridge for the Gingerbread man to cross the river.
