We enjoyed fantastic P5-7 Christmas performances on Monday 12th December. Thanks to all our young people who participated in the afternoon and evening shows. This was the first year since 2019 that we have been able to host a large-scale indoor Christmas concert, and it was great to enjoy such a varied programme of singing, instrumental music and dancing.

We are grateful to all of our visiting instructors, class teachers and pupil support assistants for all their hard work in preparing pupils for the concerts. We would also like to thank all of the parents and carers, and our special guest visitor Councillor Pauline Flannery, our local councillor for Southside and Newington, for coming along to support the event.

Finally, thanks to everyone who donated towards our collection at the end of the performance – either in person or via ParentPay. Between our P5-7 and P3-4 concerts, we have so far raised over £400 which will be shared between our P7 camp fund (which lowers the cost of attending school camp for our P7 pupils) and our friends at Social Bite, who do magnificent work supporting homeless people within our local community. If you have not yet donated, there is still time to do so via your child’s ParentPay account.

Well done to everyone who took part!
