At Preston Street we are lucky to have a team of dedicated Pupil Support Assistants who work throughout the year to support our learners.
Our annual Pupil Support Assistant Awards are an opportunity to:
- Celebrate the valuable contribution of all our PSAs throughout the year;
- Allow our PSAs to celebrate the fantastic effort made by our young people.
Here are this year’s awards (in case you are wondering, Mrs Davidson’s award will go to a P7 pupil and will be presented at next week’s Leavers’ Assembly):

Mrs Watson’s award goes to Sam in P3. Sam is always polite and friendly when coming to the office – these are very important personal qualities which we are always pleased to see in our pupils. Well done Sam!

Mrs Holmes’ award goes to Aqeef in P3/4. Aqeef has worked hard all year, shown great resilience and made excellent progress in number. Well done Aqeef!

Mrs Boswell’s award goes to Ruby in P1. Ruby always does her best, never gives up and has grown into a confident learner during her year in P1. Well done Ruby, and by the look of your picture it appears you are already celebrating!

Mrs Martin has nominated Jack in P2. Jack has shown great determination in all his learning and really grown in confidence during P2. Congratulations Jack!

Mrs Stoica’s award goes to Caleb in P5 for showing resilience and always doing his best. These are qualities that have served Caleb well this year, both in the classroom and in our school football team! Well done Caleb!

Ms Morrison’s award goes to Elise in P2. Elise attends Ms Morrison’s art club and is always polite and enthusiastic. Well done Elise!

Mrs Moffat’s award goes to Ghazi for being an enthusiastic and confident learner who has built great relationships with his classmates this year. Well done Ghazi!
Well done to all our award winners for the respect, responsibility and resilience which you have displayed this year, and thanks again to our wonderful PSAs!
