The team relax after an exciting morning.

Well done to our P5/6 footballers who participated in the first round of the School Board Cup at Wardie Playing Fields this morning, along with around 32 schools from across Edinburgh.

The team put in a tremendous battling effort during three tough group matches against Duddingston, Edinburgh Academy and Victoria, and managed to win their final game to come third in the group overall.

The winning goal in our final game!

Congratulations to Edinburgh Academy and Duddingston who progressed to the next round from our group, and thanks to all our opponents and the EPSSA staff for making it such a fun experience.

We were very proud of all our players for their efforts today. It was great to hear opposition coaches and parents complimenting our team on their determination and attitude.

Thanks to Stavros for his coaching, and all the other parents (and teachers!) who came down to support the team.

Today’s squad:

Caleb, Mohamed (P5), Noah, Yiannis, Fahad, Fatih, Saif, Joshua, Tommy (P6)
