On Tuesday, 28th May, Preston Street Primary were invited to the stunning surroundings of Traquair House to watch a Shakespeare performance like none other, Love’s Labour’s Lost.

Love’s Labour’s Lost is Shakespeare at Traquair’s main stage production for 2019 and is directed by Tim Wilcock, the mastermind behind our highly successful school production.

The play sees self-denial in fashion at the court of Navarre where the young king and three of his courtiers forswear all pleasures in favour of serious study. But when the dazzling Princess of France and her entourage arrive, inconvenient promises are quickly ditched in favour of some ham-fisted wooing.

The outside production is a hilarious and family fun filled evening. The performances will have all ages laughing out loud. It certainly had our children, parents and teachers in stitches. A big thank you to our families who joined us on the night.

Details of the production can be found below in the photos if you wish to make the journey to view it.
