It is with a heavy heart that I write your last blog of Primary 7.

Thank you to everyone who came into school on Wednesday and Thursday to collect your belongings and Year Book. Words cannot begin to describe how great it was to see you. You guys have GROWN SO MUCH!! If you are coming in this morning from 9am to 9:45, then I eagerly look forward to seeing you too.

I truly hope you enjoyed your Leavers Assembly yesterday and we did it justice for you all. That has been our biggest concern. I know I enjoyed it although what a rollercoaster!! One minute I was on a high, the next I had a tear in my eye (and no I didn’t mean that to rhyme) and what was all that about with Mr Maclean putting me on the spot. That wasn’t rehearsed! 😂

I realise we haven’t had our weekly P7A catch up call and I apologise for this. This is because both Mrs Anderson and I have had lots of school work to do in our own schools whilst juggling child care. Therefore, I plan to make amends to this by scheduling a Teams call at 10am today.

If I don’t hear from you on Teams today, good luck at your new High School and thank you for the great memories. It has been a privilege teaching you all and I have no doubt you will prosper at anything you set your mind to do.

This is not a goodbye, this is a, ‘to be continued’… When it’s safe to do so, we can’t wait to invite you all back to the school for your P7/S1 Party.

Go conquer those hills.

Mr. Anderson ❤️
