P3/4 have been learning a lot about oceans. We used atlases to find out where the oceans are and found out about the layers of oceans and the animals within each layer. This week we have been making a leaflet about plastic pollution in oceans and how we can help stop it. For World Oceans Day we had fun doing a science experiment and writing a science report.

In literacy we have been learning to spell shortened words. We have been doing imaginative writing related to our topic, aswell as factual writing.

In maths we have been learning about fractions of shapes, amounts and ordering fractions on a number line.

P3/4 all tried very hard during sports day and had lots of fun!
