We were joined by pupils from Sciennes PS and Royal Mile PS for the third round of our annual ‘Meadows Winter Series’ which allows pupils from cluster primary schools to participate in a weekly running race and ‘fun run’.

Older pupils have the option of participating in a weekly competitive race where they can earn points based on their positions in each race. Well done to Josh in P5 who is currently in first place in the boys’ competition.

Thanks to our volunteer marshals this week Sarah, Jake and Lorena, and our P4 club leaders Jo and Joan, as well as the parents from Sciennes who also assisted, and to the staff from all three schools for giving up their time to accompany pupils.

This was our last race of 2022 – the final two races of the Winter Series will take place are scheduled for 25th January and 1st February 2023. The final running club session of the year will take place next week. Well done to everyone who has participated this term!
