Good morning boys, girls, Mum’s and Dad’s, I hope you are all well and staying safe. Many thanks for the recent home learning posts and photographs, all great to see! Well done if you used the story starter pictures to create a story, it was lovely to read some well written imaginative stories! It was also good to see the number addition grids getting posted as well, don’t hesitate to send me any examples of your learning!
For literacy I have uploaded sentence booster information and activity sheets. The objective is to improve the example sentences using the ideas provided. The files are quite extensive so it’s maybe something that can be ‘dipped’ into over the next week or two.
For numeracy I have uploaded a sheet containing ‘number detectives’ differentiated activities. They are for two players and more and will test your skills in asking questions as well as your knowledge of number! I have also uploaded mindfulness colouring sheets, dot to dot differentiated sheets and a construction project. As we are in June, I will be aiming to make the activities as fun as possible (please check the blog on the 8th June) and the P4 children will be receiving an invitation to take part in Microsoft Teams over the course of the month.
Have a brilliant weekend when it comes everyone.
Take care,
Mr Durkin.
